We don’t just take anyone – and have strict limits on numbers from each industry, and multi-level-marketing companies, however we do recognize “Women” is a broad term which encompasses so many interests, beliefs, ideologies and industries. This means we can have exhibitors from a huge range of industries. Common industries include: Entrepreneurship, Skincare, Health/Cosmetic/Dental, Fitness, Beauty, Fashion, Personal Development, Wellbeing, Pets, Handmade, Art, Dance and Jewellery – just to name a few! If you aren’t sure if you fit as an Exhibitor, simply contact us! We don’t want to waste your time, money or for you to have a poor experience, so if we don’t think your business would work, we will honestly tell you!

The mission of Ultimate Women’s Weekend is to raise money and awareness for local Domestic Violence Women’s Refuges. We also want members of the public to have a fabulous time, explore new businesses and brands and try new activities and experiences!

DO I HAVE TO BE A FEMALE?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! A large number of our stallholders are men! We may be a women’s exhibition but we certainly do not discriminate! All Genders are welcome at the event either as Exhibitors or Members of the public!

HOW DO I RUN MY STALL ON THE DAY?

The best tip we have is the most simple…. stand up and smile! As sore as your feet may get, it is IMPERITIVE you stand, smile and grab customers on their way around the show. We can bring customers to you, but it is up to you to sell your product or service.
Are you not sure how to sell your product or service? Perhaps you are nervous about speaking to the many people that walk by? Firstly - THAT’S OKAY! Try having something to entice conversation – a sample, demonstration, makeover, interactive exhibit (i.e. a spinning wheel), magnet, lolly, flyer, business card – or even better, offer the consumer the opportunity to come into your stand and try a complimentary experience. This will get an easy relaxed conversation flowing between yourself and the consumer, and lead to excellent long-term sales outcomes.

Still not sure? Contact us for our next Stallholders 101 Webinar! Learn tips and tricks from other Exhibitors, the Ultimate Women’s Weekend team, and on some occasions, sales and business specialists!

CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN WITH ME?

Of course you can during the showtime, however no children under age 15 are allowed during bump-in and out. This is for safety requirements from WorkSafe as the venue is considered a working construction site. However, during the show they can be present, but you are responsible for ensuring that they are safe, that they aren’t interfering with the ability of other stallholders to conduct their business, and that they are supervised at all times. It is a good idea to leave children under the age of 7 at home if you are able to as the Exhibition is a busy place, and you want to be able to concentrate.

CAN I SHARE A STALL AT THE SHOW?

Yes you can with prior acceptance from us. Please contact us to be able to do this.

CAN I APPLY OR TRADE FOR ONLY ONE DAY?

No sorry- we hate saying no but you must be there for all days of the show. Make sure you bring enough stock it is such a shame to sell out on the first day and miss out on all those sales.

I'M APPLYING FROM INTERSTATE. CAN I COURIER STOCK TO THE VENUE?

Yes you can.  Please contact us.

DO I NEED PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE?

You must be covered by a policy, and we will require evidence that it is current. You will need min $10Million public Liability Insurance in your business’s name.
Alternatively, you can sign a waiver however this is highly discouraged as places your business at risk.

DO I NEED EFTPOS/IS THERE AN ATM?

You do not need to have Eftpos but our Exhibitors do say it does help with sales. We have a huge number of Exhibitors who use Square and Paypal readers, easily bought online or at Officeworks. They are super simple and easy to use, and very inexpensive!

IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE?

There sure is. We also have stall helpers who can mind your stall or take your order and bring you your food and drinks.

IS THERE A HIRE SERVICE FOR POWER AND TABLES, ETC.?

There absolutely is! You can select it as you go through your application. Alternatively, if you want to add it later, contact us!

DO I NEED AN ABN?

No you don’t need to have a registered ABN to trade at Ultimate Women’s Weekend. If you do not though you should think about getting one as they can be very handy!

CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT NUMBERS WILL COME THROUGH?

Unfortunately no, we can't. No show can promise numbers - we aim for as many women as possible to attend the show! We do try to control factors as much as possible and are highly aware of local events, weather patterns and events that may reduce or expand our numbers. We also market using a huge variety of sources including TV/Radio ads/Print/Social Media/Banners/Web/Letterbox Distribution and so forth. In the past we have received anywhere from 900-2500+ consumers through our shows over the show weekend. We can't predict how many people we will get through our doors, as much as we wish we could!
We do however consistently bring through quality members of your target audience!

WHAT ARE CORNER AND CAP END SITES?

Corner sites are always popular with exhibitors and are limited in numbers. There is no extra floor space, but it means the site has an open side that visitors can access i.e. does not have sites on both sides.
Dead Corners are Corners where the wall extends after the site ends. Because these don’t have quite the same impact as a true corner, they are a lesser charge.
Cap End sites have corners on both ends. The only wall is the along the back, allowing three open sides to consumers. Cap End Sites are by Ultimate Women’s Weekend Organiser Discretion.
